Mondial 1908

The Mondial story begins in 1908 with Atillio Bagnoli, founder and forefather, with his passion for shaving and for personal care. In that nascent period, in his small artisan workshop in the centre of Florence, he started to produce his first masterpieces: his extraordinary shaving brushes, made entirely by hand with great skill and precision, and increasingly refining his technique with an ever greater knowledge of his materials. Following his brushes, he then started to work with precious woods to create some extraordinary razors. His abilities started to become known the world over, so much so that prestigious names abroad would commission him to design some magnificent shaving sets for them.

In still distant times, predecessors carried on the path that was taken by Bagnoli and decided to join forces with another artisan company that produced exceptional shaving soaps and creams, eventually taking over the whole business, but only after having learned the methods and secrets of the working process. The following years would be years of hard work, characterized by a working process that requires a lot of passion and craftsmanship. Progress would of course involve more and more production processes, that could still combine the most traditional aspects of artisan methods with the use of ever more sophisticated equipment and precision tools.

The Mondial 1908 brand will always be known for its great attention to detail, a careful and rigorous selection of the best base materials and above all a heartfelt passion that has brought us together for four generations. Their business today is driven by an intense passion for the world of fragrances and perfumes, has for several years undertaken a very ambitious project that has led them to produce a few truly extraordinary lines of male fragrances that are strong in character and sophistication. Their prestigious Collections are the fruit of the collaborations with other great perfumers and each one features a special and unmistakable fragrance. Today, Mondial is the ultimate expression of Italian excellence in the world of men's shaving and cosmetics.

Mondial’s mission is taking care of your skin to give it the perfect shave, by first preparing it as comfortably as possible for stress-free contact with the razor and then caring for it afterwards with highly moisturizing, soothing and incredibly refreshing products.

In our desire to return to the past, to the beards of yesteryear and the old traditions that have been revisited with a modern approach, their old barbershop collection collection is of course aimed at Barber Shops themselves and to everyone who wants to treat themselves to a shave at home just like the one you get at the barbers.
