Inspired by the Italian traditions of doctors (Medici) who both prepared the medicines to administer to patients and were profound philosophy scholars. Pharmacists (Speziali) on the other hand, obtained and sold the herbs, drugs, and spices needed to prepare medicines, perfumes, and essences. Drugs and spices were scattered on marble tabletops ready to be mixed; pestles for crushing them released a sophisticated and peppery fragrance that inspires this special scent.
